Chettinad cuisine is one of the spiciest and most aromatic among the diverse cuisines of India. Its distinctive flavours from unique blends of spices such as star anise, fennel, fenugreek, peppercorns, kalpasi (stone flower), bay leaves and cinnamon has made it popular across the world.

Our dishes are prepared by skilled master chefs from India, using the freshest of spice and herb mixtures, just as they would have been prepared in the kitchens of South India.

Based in Chennai, India, Anjappar Restaurants have taken the authentic flavours of Chettinad to Abudhabi, Canada, Dubai, Singapore, and Sri Lanka. Kota Kinabalu is their third outlet in Malaysia, the other two being in Kuala Lumpur.
